Customer Review: The BEST if you want excellent espresso, pronto.

We bought this to replace our illy Francis! Francis!, which we had for several years. We discovered this when we were in the Netherlands and Belgium a couple of years ago, because the apartment we rented had one, and we were amazed at how quick -- and how good! -- the espresso was. The crema is amazing. We thought the illy pods were easy -- the Nespresso capsules for this are even easier. Plus you have a choice to make a short or a long shot, and you can even customize these if you wish.
The kicker, though, is the frothing machine, the Aeroccino. There are two attachments you can use inside the cylindrical frothing machine; one for steamed, whipped milk, and another for creating incredible frothy milk -- so you can have a hot or cold latté or cappuccino in two minutes! Without all that loud frothing noise, and with much easier clean-up than with a frothing wand.
The only downside I can think of is the capsules, because as of now, they can only be ordered through Nespresso.com. We order a huge amount, though, because the S/H is $6.95 no matter how much you order. So we order enough for about 4 months. There is a huge selection of flavors and coffee strengths; plus seasonal flavors -- so you have a nice variety to choose from, which is nice to have.
LOVE this machine. We got the red because it looks sharp :) Fantastic espresso, easy milk frother, and quick clean-up. What more could a coffee fanatic want?
